Giant Eagle, a supermarket chain based in the U.S., is about to pioneer and allow customers to use Venmo and Paypal as in-store digital payment methods. Customers can use this digital payment solution run by Paypal at all the 474 of the supermarket’s stores.  Customers can use the mobile app to display and scan a QR code to complete the Paypal payment at stores. Giant Eagle is maintaining contactless shopping as shoppers move towards digital wallets due to health concerns.

Starship Technologies to roll out delivery bots to four more college campuses

Starship Technologies, a Robot and Tech firm, expands its delivery robot service to four new college campuses. Starship develops cooler-sized compact robots that scamper along the footpath to deliver food and beverages to consumers. The firm will offer robot delivery at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), and University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). The bots will also serve students and staff at the University of Kentucky (UKY) and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Daytona Beach, FL campus.

The voice cooking platform is currently in the middle of raising $750,000 Series A funds. Zelish app lets its users shop, plan, cook recipes and additionally plan meal for the week. TinyChef has 1.4 million users and 120 thousand monthly active users. The traffic has 80% users from India and 20% from North America.
