HelloFresh, a Berlin-based meal-kit providing firm, is ready to unveil its first online store in the U.S. The online store will offer a variety of add-ons to the meal kit. HelloFresh will offer ready-to-eat meals, fresh produce and a wide range of pantry items. Uwe Voss, CEO of HelloFresh U.S., said the company is moving to broaden grocery solutions and won’t just be limited to dinner solutions. Its curated meal bundles include Seasonal Bundles, Quick Meals, Pantry Essentials, and HelloFresh Flavors.

Gap’s Athleta unveils a digital health and wellness platform for women

Athleta, a women sportswear brand acquired by Gap, has just launched AlthetaWell. AthletaWell is an online platform for women providing handy content that revolves around fitness, diet and mental health. It provides a chat feature so women can discuss body positivity, eating disorders and overall wellbeing. Athleta has chosen Olympic athletes Simone Biles and Allyson Felix as its brand ambassadors. As per analysts at NDP research firm, Activewear sales made up 27% of total sales last year. This swelling market segment continues attracting many big names such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, and Target to join the race.
