This restaurant will partner with other small pizza businesses to offer scrumptious pizzas from May 22-29 and deliver digital orders. This event is celebrated to mark the 11th anniversary of the world’s first commercial transaction made using digital currency for pizzas. The virtual restaurant and indie shops will offer pies, pizzas, sides and drinks.

Minneapolis-based mass retailer Target will now offer same-day delivery and curbside pickup options to deliver adult beverages from its 1,200 stores. Customers will be able to place digital order of wine, beer, spirits and other adult drinks using the Target app or website and can choose the same-day delivery or Drive Up option. Target offers exclusive, high-end brands of alcoholic beverages and also offers its own brand as it observed the adult drink to be the fastest-growing category.

Online grocery goes down by 10% in April due to relaxed COVID restrictions and other factors

Brick Meets Click, a research and analytics firm, stated in its latest survey that online grocery sales went down by 10% in April this year. On the contrary, the market remains four times higher than pre-COVID days and goes up by 16% as more people get the vaccine jab and step out. The survey included 1,941 U.S. adults who shopped household groceries and purchased online groceries in April. Another factor behind the online grocery shopping fall is the average order value (AOV) of grocery orders.

South African retailer SPAR records double-digit growth in European nations

SPAR, a South African retailer, observed its turnover at a group level in Ireland, Poland and Switzerland go up 7.5% and recorded double-digit growth in H1. SPAR’s BWG retailer group in Ireland and England saw a turnover growth of 13.3% in euro currency in the past 6 months to March 2021.
