According to President and CEO Bob Eddy, BJ’s Wholesale Club’s game has improved 5.3% year over year in comparable-store sales minus fuel during the third quarter of 2022 due to strong consumer demand for food.

Comparing the third quarter of 2021 to the same period in 2021, net sales increased by 12.3% to just under $4.7 billion, while net profits per share increased by over 9%. According to Eddy, performance in Q3 was better than BJ had anticipated, and the quarter ended up being the most prosperous third in the history of the business.
