Vibenomics and Stingray Advertising are joining forces to create the largest in-store retail media network in the United States, catering to grocery giants like Kroger, Albertsons, and Southeastern Grocers. This collaboration brings together the marketing tech expertise of Indianapolis-based Vibenomics, acquired by Mood Media earlier this year, and the network of Montreal-based Stingray Advertising. The united network will engage over 800 million monthly shoppers through in-store digital audio advertising across 25,000 grocery, drug, convenience, and home improvement stores. The companies plan to expand into other verticals in the coming year. The goal is to create a standardised platform for retail media buying, providing brands with a broader reach and deeper connections with shoppers. The retail media network aims to offer measurement options like impressions, ad spend return, timestamps, and omni-channel closed-loop attribution data for retailers.
