US Foods installs 30 battery-electric trucks at distribution hub

US Foods has installed 30 battery-electric vehicles at its distribution hub in La Mirada, Calif., as part of its pledge to cut its carbon footprint by 32.5% by 2032. The vehicles are almost the same size as regular diesel trucks, and drivers may notice quieter deliveries. Despite current driver shortages, the corporation seems unconcerned about labour when it comes to truck operation.
