Uber Eats transforms its business into a flash delivery platform in the UK

In order to keep up with the changing market and consumer trends, Uber Eats rolls out a pilot programme called Uber Eats Market. Uber Eats Market is a new online service offering ultra-fast grocery delivery in the UK. The meal delivery company has teamed up with the supermarket chain Iceland to advance this new platform. The Retail Bulletin reported that shoppers can acquire their groceries as early as 20 minutes. Uber Eats Market will integrate and merge Uber Eats’ technology and logistics expertise with Iceland’s infrastructure. The platform will showcase more than 1,000 items from Iceland. Initially, the service will be available in densely populated areas such as several London boroughs.
