For instance, in 2021, nearly 70% of job applications were completed and submitted via mobile device. 86% of job applications for gig-type jobs like delivery drivers were processed from a mobile or a laptop. The hiring process got entirely automated. With changing times, grocery stores now need candidates with hands-on technical knowledge.
