The Home Depot goes virtual with Roblox’s Kids Workshop

Based on the home improvement retailer’s in-person Kids Workshops, The Home Depot has introduced a virtual Kids Workshop experience in Roblox’s Redcliff City. Unique codes will be made accessible at the in-person class on the first Saturday of each month beginning March 4 to build synergy between the virtual and real-life seminars. Home Depot’s in-store Kids Workshops have been around for years as a method to engage families and inspire children’s interest in do-it-yourself home projects. As of 2022, the platform’s largest age group was 9 to 12-year-olds, accounting for 26% of the user base. The virtual showroom at Home Depot provides three project options: a birdhouse, a modest flower garden, and a small vehicle.
