Survey from Swiftly shows that 69% of consumers experience economic difficulties while paying for grocery

Swiftly®, a provider of omnichannel tools for merchants and a commerce technology platform, today launched their True Cost of a Grocery Shop report, which examines how consumer food purchasing habits and behaviours are changing in response to growing prices and inflation. According to the poll, virtually all customers’ shopping behaviours are being adversely impacted by the economy, with more than two thirds of respondents saying they are having trouble paying their food costs. Due to historic inflation and persistent economic difficulties, the ordinary American can no longer afford food prices, which are only rising.
