Giant Food is set to unveil its new supermarket in Bethesda, Maryland, replacing its previous location. President Ira Kress expressed excitement about introducing the store to the community, highlighting its expanded pharmacy and diverse offerings. The 65,000-square-foot space will feature a wide selection of groceries, fresh items, and foodservice options, including prepared foods, sushi, Starbucks drinks, and offerings from local eateries like Ben’s Chilli Bowl and Ledo Pizza Corner Shoppe. The addition of Ledo Pizza Corner Shoppe marks its 13th location, offering customers the convenience of picking up iconic square pizzas on the go. The new pharmacy will cater to prescription and vaccine needs, providing free consultations and assistance. Giant Food aims to ensure a seamless transition for shoppers, with the previous store closing to coincide with the opening of the new location.
