Microsoft has added new AI features to its supply chain management platform, allowing shippers to detect and respond to possible disruptions. The innovation, named Dynamics 365 Copilot, is part of a larger drive to provide interactive, AI-powered support to organisations across sectors. Copilot may be used to monitor possible hazards, create predictive insights, and compose an email to suppliers using artificial intelligence to convey alerts and reduce any interruptions. It attempts to assist busy supply chain managers in swiftly making sense of vast volumes of data and recommending mitigating strategies. Microsoft introduced its Supply Chain Center in November to tackle supply chain difficulties by unifying data across ERPs and third-party management solutions. In November, Amazon Web Services offered a cloud application, while in January, Oracle released fresh improvements to its Transportation Management and Global Trade Management platforms. Oracle intends to improve its sustainability features further in the second half of 2023.
