Meal delivery platform JustEatTakeaway sells IFood, its Brazilian unit

JustEatTakeaway, a Dutch meal delivery firm, has decided to sell stakes of IFood, its food delivery service operating in Brazil. The delivery platform has signed an agreement deal with Prosus, a South African investment fund, on the sale of its 33 % interest in Brazilian iFood. The investment firm would acquire the stakes against 1.5 billion euros. Prosus plans to raise the amount by 300 million euros if the meal delivery market does well in the coming months. Stakeholders still have to agree and approve the deal.
