The latest research report by Kantar revealed that grocery inflation in the UK hit a record-breaking percentage in August. Last month, grocery inflation went up by 12.4% in the British region. Take-home grocery sales grew by 3.8% in the 12 weeks to September. Kantar reported it to be the third month in a row that grocery sales have grown, following more than a year of year-on-year drops. The Kantar report detailed that the price of milk and butter is rising specifically abruptly, at 31% and 25%, respectively.
