Independent grocery stores will keep incorporating resilience into their plans as we go into 2023. Independent business grocers will automatically adjust and “continue to demonstrate the skill and commitment that have made them some of the most-innovative operators in the grocery industry and significant contributors to the local and national economy,” according to NGA, a Washington, D.C.-based organization that represents 21,000 independent grocers nationwide.
