Customers in Wisconsin will have two additional Hy-Vee locations to choose from, with the supermarket chain opening new sites in Janesville and Oregon. The Janesville location has been “totally reimagined,” with a welcoming trademark fireplace and an expansive dining hall featuring Mia Italian, HyChi & Hibachi, Nori Sushi, Market Grille, Long Island Deli, and Wahlburgers. Hy-unique Vee’s strategy, according to CEO Jeremy Gosch, has contributed to the company’s development. The retailer’s newest store, located at 2500 Humes Road in Janesville, is more than 97,000 square feet in size and is the retailer’s sixth “state-of-the-art” grocery shop in its eight-state footprint. All-digital shelf labelling, more than 50 televisions, traditional check-out lanes, and a new mobile payment technology with Hy-Vee Scan & Go and self-checkouts are available at the Janesville site.
