According to the survey, 67% of grocers have discussed ChatGPT at senior level meetings, 82% believe AI is necessary to remain competitive in the future, and 59% plan to test an AI solution in 2023. AI, according to grocers, will have the largest influence on inventory forecasting, supply chain management, and pricing/promotions, while ChatGPT/large language models will have an impact on customer service, product discovery, and store employee tools.
