These updates include an improved OMS user interface, making it easier for retailers to manage pickup orders, closely monitor payment statuses, and handle items sold by weight. Additionally, in-store teams can swiftly access customer order information by scanning a barcode on a mobile device. Customers can now place orders online and pay upon pickup, reducing the need for retailers to issue credits, refunds, and recharges. These enhancements aim to streamline order fulfilment and modernise inventory tracking methods for high-volume holiday orders. A variety of retailers, including Balducci’s, Bristol Farms, and Stew Leonard’s, are utilising FoodStorm’s technology to offer holiday meals. This initiative allows grocers to meet increased demand while maintaining service standards with the aid of advanced technology.
