Gaming is certainly an integral part of the metaverse, and many brands have ventured into it by creating gaming avatars. Several companies have bought land in the metaverse by now. Some of them chose to create replicas of their real-world products/services and offered them to consumers. For instance, last year, Sentosa Development Corporation duplicated Sentosa Island in the metaverse game Animal Crossing. The brand then invited consumers to visit and relax by doing yoga poses. Deliveroo, a food delivery platform, showered sweet treats on the players. The delivery firm also offered them a promo code to order food, ice-creams and desserts in the real world.
