After a successful trial, Countdown is now rolling out Scan & Go technology to more stores in Auckland. The technology allows consumers to scan, bag and pay for groceries all from their smartphones. For a smooth checkout, consumers exit the store with a QR-coded receipt via a dedicated lane.
