Amazon is expanding its ever-growing delivery services in the Middle East. The giant retailer has launched a 4,700 square metre delivery warehouse in Abu Dhabi just ahead of its Prime Day promotional event. The retailer provides same-day and one-day deliveries to customers across the city and other areas, including Al Samha, Al Shawamekh, Yas and Saadiyat Islands. Ronaldo Mouchawar, the vice president of Amazon Middle East and North Africa (MENA), said that Amazon would work with Abu Dhabi Investment Office and offer innovative e-commerce solutions to consumers in the Middle East. The latest delivery station will create a number of jobs and hire employees for full-time and part-time roles. Amazon will provide seamless delivery services to shoppers as Prime Day is approaching, and a huge number of orders are expected to be received by Amazon.
